NBA Playoffs 2010

Well, my team is the Lakers. So far their doing well. It's the first round and their leading with a series of 3-2 against the Thunder. The Lakers currently stand number 1 in the Playoffs in the Western Conference. Towards the end, i think the Lakers will be playing the Cavaliers and it will be an amazing game.

Senior Year

Senior year is going by so fast. We have less then 50 days of school left. Prom is coming up and a lot of Senior activities too. When Senior year started in August, volleyball season came along. The practices were long and tiring, but it was fun and I miss playing. Although our record wasn't very good with both JV and Varsity, I'm going to miss all the Seniors. Basketball season rolled around a few months later and I was happy because I love playing and I love watching it on TV too. Our record wasn't very good either but I'm going to remember Senior Night. Now, it's Tennis season. This is my best sport but I've decided not to play this year because I need to focus on my grades and getting my diploma. The next couple months of school are the best. There's a lot of fun and I won't have to take exams at the end of the year.

Freestyle Rapping

Freestyle rap refers to rap lyrics which are improvised through acapella or with instrumental beats and performed with few or no previously composed lyrics, off the top of your head.

In Old School Hip-Hop, the term "freestyle" referred to a pre-written rap verse that had no subject and was just written for the purpose of demonstrating skill. The term is still used in this way, though the majority of today’s artists use it to mean improvised rapping.

There are two types of freestyle. There’s an old-school freestyle that’s basically rhymes that you’ve written that may not have anything to do with any subject or that goes all over the place. Then there’s freestyle where you come off the top of the head.

Celtics Defeat Lakers

Without Lakers star player Kobe Bryant, Celtics took advantage and finished with a victory Thursday night against the Lakers, ending their 4 game winning streak with a score of 87-86.
After the Lakers took a close 84-80 lead on Andrew Bynums dunk with just over 7 minutes of the game remaining, the team got cold and Celtics took advantage.
Lakers Derek Fisher, who only scored three points on 1-for-9 shooting, missed a potential game-winning jumper at the buzzer.
Bryant sat out last nights game, which was his fifth consecutive game he has missed because of a strained tendon in his left ankle. Some could say it left a void in the Lakers arsenal but they still managed to win four games in a row without one of their star players.
